We are hiring a full-time Toolmaker at Metalcut!
At MetalCut Tool Services, we keep you humming by repairing indexable tools utilizing the most modern CNC equipment.
We can rebuild your damaged indexable tools for much less than the cost of purchasing new tools, and we do it quickly, with an average turnaround time of 3 weeks.
When we receive your tooling, we inspect it and prepare a quote within 24 hours, and when a PO is issued your tools move to the production floor.
Our repair process will maintain pocket hardness throughout the welding process and subsequent machining operations, resulting in repair tools that are like-new, compliant, and spindle ready when you receive them.
We then qualify the repaired pockets to ensure insert fit against the walls and floor. In the case of milling tools, we check for runout on diameter and face, and use a Parlec Origin pre-setter to ensure the accuracy of our work. If you request an inspection report with your repaired tool, we can provide one.
